Research and Development
The Hörzentrum carries out research projects commissioned by the acoustics industry, e.g. hearing aid and audiological technology manufacturers. We are specialized in the following areas:
- Development of algorithms for future digital hearing aids
- Noise reduction
- Dynamic compression
- Algorithms with binaural interaction
- Development and evaluation of hearing diagnostics procedures
- Application of diagnostic procedures in hardware and software solutions
- Evaluation of new hearing aid developments and prototypes in field tests
After clarifying a client's specific objectives, extensive consultations are conducted by the Hörzentrum with the university's support. In this manner, your project will be organized on the basis of the most current state of research. All endeavors taken by the Hörzentrum directly concentrate on the set of problems you commission to assure your time and expenses are not unnecessarily exceeded.
